Welcome to Jazz Alley!  We are a jazz band working out of the Greater Toronto Area comprised of graduates of the Regional Arts Program in Music at Mayfield Secondary School (the cool guys), with a crusty old trumpet player thrown in for colour and, occasionally, some of the trumpet player’s jazz friends. The cool guys are comparatively new to jazz but, having been introduced to Jazz through their involvement with the ‘Blues Alley’ senior stage band, they have elected to pursue their passion by creating our own version of ‘Blues Alley’ on a smaller scale and with more of a focus on jazz standards. Thus, we present Jazz Alley.

We jam together regularly because we love to play. And because we take pride in our play, we like to be heard. And apparently, people enjoy listening to us play. If you’d like us to play at your event, phone or send us an email. We would love to play for you.
