Happy Independence Day to our friends in the U.S.A.
Good gig at the Aspetta Caffe once again.

Brent, playing his 4th gig in 2 days.

Hey, we actually got a good photo of Immanuel.

...almost the whole band.

The Port Restaurant is right on the harbour at Frenchman’s Bay in Pickering. It has a gorgeous view and a really nice patio overlooking the harbour. We had the pleasure of playing there June 27.
We played at the Aspetta Caffe again last night (June 20) and will play again on Pedestrian Day, June 27. Last night we played without a drummer and yet I was still able to ad-lib comfortably over the changes which is a testament to how tight Jon and Brent play together. Well done, guys!
We play again there on June 27 from about 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm.

What can I say about our gig at SpiceSafar? It certainly was an interesting, if hectic, experience. Why hectic? Because we were asked to play 2 days before for one night and then we were asked to play again the next night. But the acoustics were great and we met some interesting people, including Dean the doorman and Greg the D.J.

Immanuel always seems to get lost in the photos. But he's there somewhere, just look closely.

Good acoustics and a nice ambience.

Greg the D.J. and Dee the doorman were interesting and amiable characters.
We will be playing at a preview opening of a new lounge at SpiceSafar, at 510 King St W. This was a last minute booking so a bit hectic managing the logistics. But we did figure out how to get two guitar amps, bass and guitar, PA system, full drum kit, stands, trumpet, music, and 4 musicians into a Hyundai Sonata
